Oliver Laric, Film still,"Versions"
Jean Luc Godard, Film still, "Goodbye to Language"
Godard is able to establish a visual language, that deconstructs the language of cinema by using "everyday" imagery in combination with a philosohpical voice over. This kind of approach offers the viewer an interpretation of their own.
Werner Herzog, Film still, "Land of Silence and Darkness"
For my final outcome I would like to take these 3 films as a source of inspiration, because they deliver messages in a way, that touches the unconcious part of our minds. These examples seem to be about what we don't see in the frame. Here they communicate a language that speaks to our ideas of our reality.
